The job is for an asset management job in the investment management division of a large commercial bank. The IRS and a certain state both have liens or levies on me amounting to something like $40,000. However, there are special circumstances. My credit was always good until I had a very serious injury that cost me my job, etc... So can the bank give special consideration for this? I know in some cases, like with financial advisors brokers, if you have a lien exceeding $10,000 the insurance companies won& 039 t cover you not sure which insurance companies o what type of insurance , but i was told this by a knowledgeable source. But this job is not a brokerage position. But it is with a bank. So I& 039 m concerned. I really want this job very badly.thanks everyone. Right now, they know about my situation...my injury, etc. I didn& 039 t tell them about my bad credit yet. I don& 039 t know if I should bring it up w my potential bosses...or w HR. But they understand the special circumstances as to why my credit would turn bad. and if you look at my credit history..my credit is fine right up until shortly after my injury.What if an employee at the bank suddenly gets terrible credit? Does he she get fired? I hate this situation...I really need want this job they& 039 re flying me up in a few weeks. should i tell them then? or wouldn& 039 t it be prudent to tell them before they incur the expense of flying me up there?

Hi,My husband and I want to move house. We have had a mortgage since 2007, but unfortunately, last year, my husband took out a mobile phone contract, changed his mind and never paid it idiot I know I had no idea Recently, I applied to look at our credit reports with Experian. Mine is all good, but his has got 1 red & 039 8 or more defaults& 039 next to the mobile phone contract thats how I found out everything else is good though.What are the chances of us being able to get another mortage re mortgage? We are with Natwest bank who said the only way they can really tell confirm by & 039 getting a mortgage in principle& 039 , however this goes against your credit score so its a catch 22 As I said, everything is good except that and we have around 20k equity. The mobile phone company have written off the balance now but said even if we re opened the dispute and paid the balance 900 it wont change the bad mark on his report.any advice would be great thanks x

Not to give a sob story, but about 2 years ago I lost a higher paying corporate job. As a result of that, I pulled out what money I had in a retirement to live off of while I looked for a job. Just recently I have landed on my feet and back to stable work, at about half the pay. I& 039 m younger, late 20& 039 s. As a result my credit has suffered and I& 039 ve amassed some debt. However, I& 039 ve tapped the only asset I had, my 401 k . My credit is not great, and I have no collateral. Are there any places that will finance poor credit for a personal loan. 5,000. is about all I& 039 ll need to right the ship here, but I& 039 d like to get it handled now, before the debt continues to grow.To all of the people that will tell me save first and fix my credit, please spare my time and yours. I know that& 039 s an option, but want to explore others that may allow me to fix this on an accelerated time line.Thanks for any help
