Question: Beginners course in finance?

Hello there ! Please could someone advise me on finance courses? I currently work in an office based role. i want to train in finance. done my research and think aat is the course i would look to do. i& #039;m just concerned that im not working in a finance based role. i know the aat has a diploma based route, but i would rather get a but of work experience behind me first if that makes sense? the local college does a manual and computerised accounts course, just 1 year part time. i hope to take a week off work and do a bit of work experience in a local company. would i still need the aat before i can be considered for a job in finance? i& #039;m just completely confused if it& #039;s best to go striaght for the aat or do the beginners course first?
