When do dentists report to credit reports late bill?
I have an outstanding balance with a dentist that will be 90 days late according to next dentist statement. I hope the dentists don& 039 t have software that automatically sends it to the credit report after 90 days. Or do they have to send it to collections first? What do you think?

Legitimate free credit reports?

I have no employer info on my credit reports?
I am getting ready to start a job search, so I checked my 3 credit bureaus for inaccuracies. I noticed that I have no past employer history in my credit reports. Someone informed me that this could be a serious problem to future employers. I haven& 039 t applied for credit in almost 10 years, so no creditors have verified my past employers. Therefore I have no employer listings on my credit reports. NOW, can someone tell me if this will keep me from getting a job? I have a great credit score and have paid all my past bills on time. I have no debt. I would like some feed back from any HR person or recruiter out there. I can not believe that I will have take a great deal of time trying to add past employers to all my credit reports just to prove my employment history. Please give me some advice, because I am really annoyed thinking that I will be punished during my job search for being fiscally responsible. I find it totally unreasonable to be punished for not having my last 3 jobs listed on any of my credit bureaus.

Aren't credit reports only supposed to go back 7 years?
I& 039 ve been checking my credit report every month for the past 3 years because I want to make sure that I keep it straight and get wrong stuff off of it and whatnot. My whole life I& 039 ve been told that credit reports only go back 7 years and that old stuff " will fall off" after that magical 7 year mark. So if this is the case, then WHY is stuff from 1999 still showing up on my credit report? It& 039 s not bad stuff, but the account is closed, but it still shows how much my payments were, my credit limit, the company, and whether or not I was late any month for the time period I had that credit. 2 years . So the whole time that this particular piece of credit was open, from 1999 2001 is still showing up on my credit report. This is 2010 why won& 039 t it " fall off" already?

Am i entitled to a copy of my credit report?
A car dealer showed me my report and it reports different figures than I see on my regular credit report. I need a copy of that report so I can take it up with the companies. Am I entitled to have the car dealer give me a copy of the report?I have 3 bureau credit reports from Transunion already. However, I just found out some of the things in the car dealer& 039 s report is wrong such as a lower limit on a student loan and the scores are also very different. Transunion shows me 705, 720 and 724 for all three while the car dealer show me 624, 640 and 643.Is it possible that the dealer edited some of the figures to make me think it& 039 s bad? So he can get a higher rate out of me? I& 039 m really suspicious

How long does it take to reflect on your credit report/score?
i had to apply some of mine and my sons medical bills to a couple of credit cards to avoid collections a lovely ppo so i used the lowest interest rate cards and now im looking to down size the cards to at least half with some extra funds my husband will be getting from overtime.how long will this take to show on the credit reports and update the scores since the balances leave little available credit and were looking into buying a home. and need to lower the debt to credit ratio.
