If you are getting credit card offers in the mail, it means that your credit score is going higher, and that way you will be able to have a higher amount on your credit.

You probably just landed on some new mailing list.

The credit card issuers are on a phishing expedition for customers. They 've done 'soft ' inquires in your credit report (they don 't alter your credit rating). It indicates that you MAY be a good risk to issue a credit card to you. It does not mean that you are qualified to receive the card. It does not mean your credit score has changed up or down. You still have to meet income and other debt to credit measuring sticks. I get them all the time. I shred them.

No. Your name has just been sold to them by a store you purchased something from. It 's like a shark list and companies pay big monies for those list.
