Too many credit card applications? is it bad?
well i wanted to get a credit card to start building my credits a year ago but every single one of them i got denied since i didn& 039 t have credit, so my parent put me under his so i could get a little bit of credit history soo now i applied cause i have credit of 743 and it says to many past like applications? does apply affect the process?

I have never been in debt and yet i am constantly refused loan or credit card applications. Why is this so?
I work full time, am good at repayments and pay my bills on time yet i can& 039 t seem to get credit anywhere. Someone said it might be because of my address being blacklisted, but i have lived here for over five years and i know it is debt free. Any ideas?

How long should I wait in-between denied credit card applications to apply for a new one?
I am a 22 year old with no credit history what so ever. Yes, i have checked this with the creditors. I have never had any open lines of credit and no bills in my name. With that said, I am planning to buy a house within the next couple of years and I am trying to build credit so I will not have any problems getting a mortgage. Since August 2009, I have applied to 2 credit cards. Both were denied for the same reason s as follows " current account has not been used enough" , " credit limits are too low" , " available credit on account is too low" and " insufficient amount of credit is reported on credit bureau report" . I have been told that the only way to begin to build my credit is by applying for department store credit cards or store only credit card without the Visa MC connection. A department store credit card will do me no good as I refuse to shop at the GAP 5 days a week. So, i have decided that my next best option is a WALMART store only credit card and or a gas station only credit card as these two i know i will use on a weekly basis. However, what is the average amount of time i should be waiting in between each of these credit applications? My second last denial letter I received on October 29th 2009. Some people have told me I can apply for store only credit right away, some have said 45 days, 60 days 90 days and even 6 months Please help I need to build credittttt

I have a pretty bad credit score 580 and am trying to get a card to help build my credit. I applied for a card known to approve people with poor or no credit Orchard .I applied online and instead of instantly saying I was approved like I& 039 ve heard happens, it said my application is being reviewed and I will hear from them in 10 14 days. Does this mean I will not get the card? Does this happen with online applications and you still get approved?I am going to used the card for things that can be paid off right away such as gas and groceries that we would be buying anyway. That way my score is being helped. And I& 039 ve heard that prepaid cards to not get reported to credit bureaus so that is why I don& 039 t want to go that route.

Why was my credit card application rejected?
I just applied for my first credit card and my application was denied because I have " no revolving account balance" . I looked up what that means and it means that I don& 039 t have any credit cards with a balance. So are they saying they don& 039 t know if they should give me a card because I& 039 ve never used one before?I have a debit card and an Amex and my credit reports says I& 039 m in the " Low Risk" " Good" range. when u apply for a credit card and it askes if ur employed and ur salary is it possible to lie. when ive applied in the past they have never rang my employer so how would they know if u as telling the truth. Also if they did find out u lied what could the possible consequences be???

Free credit report for credit card application rejection.?
Hi,Recently one of my credit card application got rejected. The letter from the bank states that, i am eligible to get a free credit report within next 60 days. When i called the credit reporting agency transunion number given on the letter, it goes to an automated number and requires me to provide ssn and address details to get a report. How do i reach out to a real person and get the free report i am eligible because of my application rejection?
