Question: Do i really need to check all 3 credit bureaus?

Do all debt collectors etc have to report to all 3 credit bureaus or do I really need to check all 3 reports? How can I tell if the same items are showing up on all 3 reports? When I get all 3 reports, How can I tell if the same items are showing up duplicate on all 3 reports?

They do not have to report to all 3. The only way to tell if the same items are showing up on all 3 reports is to check all 3.

All debt collectors do not HAVE to report to all 3. All debt collectors do report to at least one. By pulling all 3 reports you 're getting a more complete picture than if you pulled just one.

Creditors do not have to report to all bureaus. In fact, they don 't have to report to any. The only way to know what 's on your credit histories is to periodically pull all three reports.
