As a USA small business, how do I report to credit agency non-payment from another small business?
I have a client under contract who has not paid a particular invoice in 5 months. The client has paid previous invoices. The terms of our contract clearly specify 30 day payment terms. In the USA, how do I report non payment to a credit reporting agency Equifax, Experian, etc so that this delinquency might be added on the debtor& 039 s credit report? I am located in Arizona, my client is located in Washington state.

Dual citizen of Canada and U.S. Built up 5k in debt with Canadian credit agency two years ago.?
Now living in the U.S., with no plans on returning to Canada. The debt has remained untouched for nearly two years. Will it eventually be automatically cleared?

Is this report to the credit agency fair?
I was deployed in Iraq during the past year and during the summer months I was unable to pay a capital one credit card and auto payment for 30 days. no family and in a weird area of the county and I forgot to be frank Both accounts are current now but I was reported to the credit agency about these. Do I have an argument here or should I not waste my time. Thanks

How come one credit agency will delete a file, but the other ones won't?
I& 039 ve dispusted a few items on all 3 of my credit reports. However, one file will be deleted on 2 of them and it will remain on the other one. Why is that happening? Can I still dispute the other one? Do I tell them it& 039 s been deleted by the other 2 and if so, will that change anything?

Can a credit agency force me to pay?
I have a debt of $800.05 owing from a Phone company it was originally $2000, The phone was stolen and I didn& 039 t have phone insurance. I have been paying off this debt over 12months and the agency have been wonderful in allowing small weekly payments. But now the phone company have told the credit agency that the debt must be paid in full within 30 days. I have pleaded with the credit agency to extend the date or for me to make larger payments but they tell me that it is just not possible and I should claim bankruptcy, this is something i am not prepared to do. I have no intention of completely screwing up my credit for a small debt, all the information i have found suggests that you should not go bankrupt for a debt less that $10,000. In my opinion they have gone back on their verbal contract with me to pay it off weekly. Is there any other option? Have any laws been broken by the agency? is there anything else i can do? PS I have attempted to get a loan for $2000 dollars to give me extended time to pay off the debt but because I have an outstanding debt they will not consider it. I live in Australia Please help me

Haven't had this cell phone in 4+ years, now credit agency is contacting.?
My husband had suncom 4 years ago, before we ever even met. He paid it off, and hasn& 039 t heard anything since. Now as of today, he owes $650 The credit agency will settle for $250 which it looks like were going to have to do, if t mobile who now owns suncom wont do anything. Has anyone ever been through something like this? He hasn& 039 t heard anything out of these people in over 4 years and it& 039 s strange that now he owes money to them. What sucks is after 4 years he no longer has any receipts to prove things were paid off. We are going to contact t mobile but I& 039 m sure that conversation isn& 039 t going to go well, and was just looking for some help on here. Thanksthanks for that info, but can you give me the site where you found that information? Also, t mobile has NO information on my hurband, it doesnt show him even in their system.

Do you feel that Virginia-based credit agency Equifax, should advise U.S. public that they offshore to India?
Offshoring does not necessarily bother me, it is the lack of disclosure and transparency that bothers me. I know we live in a global world, but U.S. laws like HIPAA have not caught up with this world. I personally have had an unusual experience as I tried to bring justice in the Philippines through facts, dealing with a man whom controls US$65 billion in assets. Instead, I have learned small items like this about Equifax as I have needed protection due to credible death threats. I put a freeze on my credit as having lived in and studied the region I am not angry at people but glad they are honest with me. Sadly, Equifax, is not so generous. Did you know about this offshoring, and do you now wonder why unemployment is so high in the U.S.?From my understanding, based on HIPAA for example, the U.S. government will claim it is more expensive and that U.S. citizens are unqualified because it is true in a technical sense. Many of us may have had an illness that has dinged are credit and thus we are not able to pass a Confidential U.S. Security Clearance. In the world of offshoring, and I am certain that more Britisgh Virgin Islands and UK territories will open up in time, they do not need to pass a basic credit check, while I know in India and Manila they have a credit system. It is not applicable for U.S. citizen accounts. This is the even more foolish part, the government extends unemployment benefits, which if factored in would be cheaper with all variables and I believe that even if you are making maybe only 10% more than unemployment or even the same, that is helping our country. I am not a tea bag person, just someone whom believes that U.S. stimulus should not be foreign aid.

Landlord threatens to report to credit agency?
Hi, I used Gumtree to find a flat share with a landlord and moved into it. The flat is in wembley area in London. Some details I signed a contract with him that said, " minimum 3 months tenancy but can be broken earlier by either party by a 1 month notice" . If the tenancy is broken before 3 months then it must be mutually agreed by both the parties. Now my wife is coming over to stay with me and I want to move out. I discussed this with the landlord on 1st aug , gave him a notice and we mutually agreed that they will to let me go on 31st Aug end of month .I have payed them the full rent till aug 31st and they also have my deposit. But now suddenly they want me to move out on 10th Aug, but keep the rent till 31st aug. If I do not move out on 10th, they threaten to enforce the 3 months stay. If I leave before 3 months the

Is a bill collector required to notify me of a collection before reporting it to a credit agency?
I had a utility bill from North Dakota and moved out of state to Missouri. he bill was sent to collections on January 26th. I never recieved a letter or phone call stating that I owed a bill or I would have paid it, it was only $108. I got an email from my credit tracker saying I had a potentially negative piece of information. I checked it out and seen this collection that was posted on 3 1 10. I called the company and the manager stated they only have to attempt 1 time to notify which he claims he did but had an address in Illinois that got returned due to bad contact information. He said I can pay the bill and he can request that it be removed from my credit but can only request and cant gaurantee anything. I am trying to build my credit back up so I need to know what my rights or options are to get this off my credit. I havent paid yet, just so I can see what options I have I dont want to pay right away and not have anything to use to get the collector to help me out. Please let me know thanks.
