Which is the best credit card?

Question: Which is the best credit card?

(Posted by: NoviceChap on 2010-03-20 11:17:12)

I am a college student (going to graduate soon) and want a card with minimum or no annual fees. This will be my second card. I am also looking for one with more rewards. Is there any good credit card (good company) which will also boost my credit score?

Go to a credit union and open an account. Apply for one of their credit cards. By federal law, interest rates on credit cards granted through credit unions must be capped at 18% and most of them offer much more attractive rates than banks. Many have no annual membership fees since you are already a member of a credit union. In the future, if you need a home or auto loan and are a credit union member in good standing, you will find them much easier to work with than banks and their loans carry lower interest rates. articles.moneycentral.msn.com/ Banking/ BetterBanking/ DitchYourBankForACreditUnion.aspx Don 't fall into the credit card trap from the big banks. Just because the laws have changed doesn 't mean they can 't hike your interest rates or charge you a membership fee on an account that previously didn 't have one. The only difference is that now, they have to notify you in advance.

AMERICAN EXPRESS!!! I have had mine since I was 17...there is an annual fee, but you pay in full at the end of the month, and no interest and no spending limit...at least for mine. I have the American Express Rewards Plus Gold Card. It also racks up the points for rewards too. LOTS of exclusive perks, like getting tickets before other people, car rental insurance for a cheaper price, free credit report, list goes on and on. LOVE IT!!!!
