I was wondering since I will soon become 18, what kind of credit card would be good to start off with so that I can build on my credit score?

Go to bankrate.com and check the current interest rates being offered by all the major CC companies. Best rate I can find for my particular credit profile is 9% flat interest from capital one, so, your milage may vary. Don 't be a sucker and get yourself deep in CC debt, even 9% is very high (usury!) I only use my card for the monthly groceries and I pay it off the next month, I don 't carry more than $1000 in debt so I can bail out quick if/ when the company decides to try to screw me.
