I have moved into a new property and the previous tenant has bad credit history linked to this address. I receive letters regularly for money owed and put this back in the post as " not known at this address." It is now affecting me when credit searches are carried out although I have no problems in this area.Is there a form I can fill in and send off to remove this blacklisting from this address.Have written to Experian but they never replied.Thanks

I have a good job, but due to illness and loss of income I have fallen way behind. Also I had a bankruptcy in 2006 that was discharged in Sept 2006. My credit score is around 600 but falling way behind I am sure it will go down.

I have had no liens, repossessions, bankrupcies, etc and I am only 25. I opened a couple credit cards a few years ago that quickly grew too much, and spent the last 3 4 years working hard to pay off the debts, set repayment agreements, settle accounts, etc. Also I noticed on my Experian report that they have these really ridiculous mispellings of my name and my employer. How badly will my 3 4 year old credit card problems and these names hurt me, or is this really an issue of long term debt if I were 40 with these problems versus being only 25 , frequent leins and repossessions, etc?Its for a dispatch position for the police department in California. Everything else polygraph, psych evaluation, POST score, employment history, clean criminal background on me is golden.

I have pretty bad credit so my ability to pay for things is rather limited. I can& 039 t get approved for any credit cards, so mostly everything is paid for via cash. My husband and I want to buy a house.. We found one that& 039 s perfect And the best part is it& 039 s only 25000, the owner hasn& 039 t occupied it for 3 years and just wants rid of it. They just remodeled and updated a lot of things in it in 2007. My husband has bad credit due to past medical bills.. And I evidently don& 039 t have credit. I pulled our credit reports and between us we have less than 10k in debt for pretty much everything.. He is able to get his VA loan but we don& 039 t know what to do.. And if we can even get a loan at all because of our credit.
